Restaurant manager

Job description

• Responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our restaurant
• Ensure health and safety legislation is being met
• Manage stock and wastage levels
• Overall financial budget & P&L responsibility
• Working with the directors and accounts team to achieve targets
• Managing labour costs and staff schedules
• Responsible for customer experience, ensuring consistent customer service is being delivered at all times
• Dealing with customers' complaints

Skills, experience, and qualifications required

• Previous restaurant manager experience is a must
• Preferred experience in Chinese food restaurant
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service skills
• A true team leader with exceptional management skills
• Ability to demonstrate accounting knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, EHO Standards and COVID-19 awareness
• Chinese language is preferred

Salary: £22k to £26k per year depending on experience
